Recently, Bangalore-based company Atria Convergence Technologies (ACT Pvt. Ltd.) has launched India’s first 1Gbps fiber-optic broadband services. There are still many doubts about the means by which these documents came into the hands of the Russian government, but whether intentionally or unintentionally, Kaspersky has already confirmed that it collected files from the computers it analyzed, without being threats, that were sent to its own servers to review them manually....
The company says that it discovered the breach last Friday after detecting suspicious activity on its network. LastPass assures that its encrypted data is sophisticated enough and hence unlikely to be compromised. It says that it appends random digits to the keys, making it over 100,000 times more secure. “We are confident that our encryption measures are sufficient to protect the vast majority of users.” As a security measure, LastPass is requesting all of its users to change their master passwords....
