In less than 12 hours from now, Samsung will be unveiling the Galaxy S8 at its Unpacked event. Apart from the launch event being held in New York and remote events in other parts of the world, Samsung will also be live streaming the event. Since not everyone is lucky enough to be invited to Samsung’s Galaxy S8 launch event, the company is live streaming the event for folks interested in the handset. Samsung has live streamed almost all of its previous Unpacked events, so it’s not surprising to see the company to something similar with the Galaxy S8’s launch event. This year though, Samsung is offering users a multitude of options to watch the live stream. You can watch the Galaxy S8 live stream here over at Samsung’s website. Alternatively, you can watch the live stream on Facebook if you prefer FB’s live streaming option. If you are not in front of a PC, you can watch the live stream on your iOS or Android device through the Unpacked 2017 app. The event is scheduled to start from March 29 at 11 a.m. (EDT)/GMT 3 p.m. Various leaks have already provided us with the nitty gritty details of the Galaxy S8 specifications. The handset will be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 8895 chipset, while the US variant will feature a Snapdragon 835 chipset. Both chipsets are based on the 10nm fabrication process and should be extremely power efficient. The Chinese and Korean variants will feature 6GB RAM, while the rest of the world will get the variant with 4GB of RAM. The base storage of the handset is set at 64GB, and it will also feature a microSD card slot.
