With just over 24 hours left for HTC to unveil the HTC 10, a promotional video of the handset has leaked to ruin the company’s surprise tomorrow. The video confirms that all the press renders we have seen so far of the handset are legit, and also confirms that it will come with a USB Type-C port.

The promo confirms that HTC is sticking to the same design language with the 10 that it first introduced with the One M7 back in 2014, though obviously it has refined it further. The video also confirms the lack of HTC’s iconic, but much hated BoomSound speaker grillers, with the Taiwanese company now switching to what looks like a bottom facing speaker on the handset. https://youtu.be/_pKWTitdRlY Leaked benchmark listings have also already confirmed the complete specs of the HTC 10. The handset will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 12MP rear shooter with OIS and LaserAF. Interestingly, the handset is rumored to sport a front-facing camera with OIS, though this is yet to be confirmed. HTC can still have some surprises up its sleeve tomorrow when it unveils the HTC 10. A lot depends on the handset for the company, and after all, the specs and design of any handset are only one part of its equation.
