HTC today announced that it is bringing the One M9+ to Europe. The One M9+ is a bigger and arguably better version of HTC’s US flagship — the One M9. While the One M9+ looks and carries the same build quality as the One M9, it features a bigger 5.5-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440) display. The handset also comes with HTC’s front-facing BoomSound stereo speakers, with the bottom speaker also featuring a capacitive home button with an integrated touch-based fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, the One M9+ comes with an octa-core Helio X10 processor clocked at 2.2GHz, 3GB RAM, a PowerVR G6200 GPU, 32GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot. Other notable specs of the handset include a 4MP ‘UltraPixel’ selfie camera in the front, a 20MP shooter at the rear that is accompanied by a secondary 2MP depth sensor for ‘Duo’ effects. Despite the bigger screen and powerful internals, the One M9+ comes with a sealed 2840mAh battery. HTC has not yet announced when exactly the One M9+ will be available in Europe and at what price, but it is likely that the handset will be making its way to stores and local operators by the end of this month.
