In April, HTC confirmed that the One (M7) would be getting upgraded to Sense 6, the newest version of their proprietary software that was present on the One (M8) right out of the box. While that’s all well and good, many owners of the One mini have been waiting for an update of their own. The wait is finally over . . . for some owners. Revealed by GSMArena on July 17, the HTC One mini is apparently now undergoing its official update to Sense 6, in a software update that’s now being rolled out to the devices located in Europe. It’s labeled software update 4.09.401.3, and it measures in at 493.61MB. And, with it, plenty of new additions to the device. The handset will receive new features like color coded themes, which should prompt easier navigation. You’ll get personalized font styles, an additional button to clear all recent applications, and a new interface for the Camera and Gallery. The One mini will now also be able to utilize HTC’s Extreme Power Saving Mode, plus plenty of other features. The update is reportedly being rolled out in waves, as usual, and it should take time before all the One minis out there in the wild receive it. While it’s available now in Europe, it’s believed to be heading to other markets soon. Did you get a One mini, and did you get an update to Sense 6 yet?
