It has been a few months since HTC officially unveiled their brand new flagship for 2014, the One (M8), and all of the color options along with it. While the silver and gun metal versions of the handset have been common commodities in stores, the gold version is still missing from a few wireless carriers. That’s changing for some Canadians today. The gold version of the One (M8) is now available for Canadians who subscribe to Rogers. It’s an interesting turn of events, but certainly not unheard of. As it stands right now, it looks like Rogers is going to be the sole carrier to offer the gold-hued version of HTC’s flagship, so if you were looking to get your hands on it, you may find them a bit tied as to your carrier choices. If you do plan on picking it up, Rogers will ask for $179.99 up-front, and you’ll have to sign a new, two-year contract to see that pricing. Of course, if you’ve been waiting for the gold version but it doesn’t really live up to what you expected and want to go with another color, Rogers already offers both the silver and gun metal options. Have you been waiting to get your hands on the gold version of HTC’s One (M8)?
