In terms of display, the Honor 9 comes with a 5.15-inch IPS LCD panel with curved glass on both sides at the back. The fingerprint sensor is implanted at the home button, below the front display. It is powered by company’s Own HiSilicon’s 64-bit Kirin 960 SoC coupled with Mali G71 GPU.The smartphone comes in two storage variants – 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM/128GB internal storage. The storage on both the variants can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card (hybrid SIM slot). The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system wrapped under EMUI 5.1 and gets its strength from a 3200 mAh battery with fast charging support. In terms of Camera Specs, the smartphone features dual rear camera setup which includes a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor and a 12-megapixel RGB sensor with dual-LED flash, 2X optical zoom, portrait, and bokeh modes. To the front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie clicker. For audio lover’s, the handset sports a Hi-Fi audio chip for an immersive sound quality experience. The company’s also not ditched the 3.5 mm jack. There’s a lot of speculation before that the company will remove the headphone jack. Honor 9 offers connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, VoLTE, micro USB and 3.5mm audio jack. It houses a 3,200mAh battery with support for fast charging. The smartphone measures 147.3 x 70.9 x 7.45mm and weighs 155 grams. The Honor 9 will be available in the UK and mainland Europe in early July 2017 in blue, black, and gray. In the UK, it’ll cost $485 SIM-free and come with 4GB of RAM. In Europe, it starts at $510, and France and Italy will get a slightly upgraded version with 6GB of RAM.
