The new MateBook X Pro, as stated earlier comes with up to the 8th generation Intel Core i7 8565u CPU coupled with a dedicated GPU, which is the Nvidia MX 250, a much-needed addition over integrated graphics if you edit videos on your laptop or play some games. You can further add a more powerful external GPU using the Thunderbolt 3 port on board, which can also be used to attach a 4K display. The display on the MateBook X Pro is a 13.9-inch panel with a 3:2 aspect ratio and a resolution of 3000 x 2000 pixels which covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut. There’s support for touch input too along with gestures like three-finger swipe for screenshots. The laptop is just 4.9mm thin at its thinnest point but does not compromise on the internals. The Wi-Fi speeds can reach up to 1733Mbps which is apparently double than that of the previous gen MateBook. There are also some smart features like a fingerprint scanner baked into the power button which enables one-touch unlock. There are quad speakers on the laptop with support for Dolby Atmos. Then there are some cool features which help you sync your Huawei smartphone to your MateBook and perform functions like one-tap file transfer, share your clipboard between the two devices and provide a seamless experience while using your devices. The new MateBook X Pro will be available in two colors – Mystic Silver and Space Grey and will retail starting at 1599 Euros for the i5 variant and 1999 Euros for the i7 variant.
