Huawei’s upcoming Glory 3X smartphone has just leaked out online, and this would have normally been a pretty standard story, if it weren’t for what we’re seeing in those images — a potential lawsuit from Samsung. As you might have guessed from the image already, the Glory 3X has a faux leather back cover, much like the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and some other Samsung smartphones and tablets that launched shortly after. We’re pretty sure Samsung won’t be pleased with this resemblance so this issue is surely going to be hotly debated in the coming days, should the Glory 3X really be announced with this design.
Apart from the uncannily familiar looks, the Huawei Glory 3X will feature a 5.5 inch 1080p display, a 13-megapixel camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, 16GB of storage, 2GB of RAM and a MediaTek made octa-core chipset. The handset will reportedly retail for 1699 CNY ($272), which is quite a bargain for a device carrying the aforementioned hardware. Considering Huawei’s wide reach in world markets, we can expect the smartphone to make its way globally as well. What’s your take on this new offering from the Chinese manufacturer?
