On March 23, Instagram launched a new “Layout” app for iOS, which allowed users to create collages with their digital images. At the time, Instagram confirmed that the app would be coming to Android at some point in the future, but no specific dates were provided. Now, the time of waiting is coming to an end, as Instagram is launching Layout today for Android. With it, Android users will be able to select a series of images (up to eight of them) they want to include, then choose a grid and make a few tweaks they want before finalizing the finished product. Once that’s done, users can either send it to Instagram (surprise!) or to another one of their social networks of choice. Layout is due in the Google Play Store today, and we’ll update this story when it becomes available. Update: And, just like that, Layout is now available. A link to the app is available below.
