Just after the death of KickassTorrents, a number of fake proxies arrived on the scene. This also helped the other lesser known torrent websites to gain popularity. Back in July, Katcr.co was a result of the original KickassTorrent staffers who grouped to build a community website. However, it didn’t offer any torrent links. Now the same domain Katcr.co was launched again by a larger group of KickassTorrent employees and guess what? the website is loaded with torrents. The websites share the same look like the deceased Kat.cr. According to Torrent Freak, the Kat.cr team said them that the majority of original KAT admins and crew have already joined to a new site. One of the team members of Katcr said: “This shows the loyalty, dedication and real love for KAT that we all share”. “We have all our major uploaders on board and they continued to share tirelessly even before the torrent engines returned. The torrent community can continue to expect to see uploads from all the names they know and trust” So, now the website is back with a clean user database and some of the renowned uploaders are also back. It’s expected that the website will be soon filled with fresh content. According to KATcr crew, the website was rebuilt and only the safer elements were kept.
