Samsung Indonesia has uploaded a video that essentially confirms the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge will be water resistance. The teaser video from Samsung shows Indonesian archer Dellie Threesyadinda using the Galaxy S7 edge and Gear S2 in her training regime. It shows the archer using the Galaxy S7 edge in rain thereby confirming the handset’s waterproofing capabilities. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHaxUZPyomg The video is still unlisted by Samsung Indonesia on YouTube and it looks like the company did not really want it to be discovered today. Previous rumors had indicated that the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge will feature waterproofing capabilities and this video has confirmed it. Additionally, the video also shows wireless charging in action on the handset, though that should not really be a surprise. It will be interesting to see how Samsung has managed to add waterproofing capabilities on the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge with their metallic build and without adding any hideous flap to them. Update: Looks like we jumped the gun here, folks. The phone in the video above is not the Galaxy S7 edge, but is in fact the Galaxy S6 edge+. Nonetheless, the above video is still a teaser for Samsung’s upcoming flagship Galaxy handsets that will be water resistant.
