Apple is a company I often bring up, and for good reason too. They’re the benchmark, whether you like it or not. One thing they do that hardly any other company does is announce when their devices will hit store shelves as well as how much they’re going to cost. I can’t tell you the number of press releases I’ve read during the past seven years that have said “coming out in X quarter, price to be determined”. Totally useless. So with that in mind, I’d like to share a juicy rumor.
According to an anonymous source who tipped off Engadget, Samsung’s Galaxy Note III will be available from the UK operator Three on September 16th. That’s exactly two weeks from today. The image also says Sony’s new flagship phone, the Z1, just a little bit later, on the 24th. Focusing on the Note III for a second, it’s going to be the flagship Samsung phone to own until the Galaxy S5 is announced in a little over half a year. Rumors say it’ll have a 5.68 inch screen, sub 2.5 mm bezels on the side, 3 GB of RAM, 13 megapixel camera, and a crazy big battery. When will Samsung actually unveil the Note III? 19:00 Berlin time on September 4th.
