The OnePlus 3 has leaked plenty of times in blurrycam pics since the starting of this month. Today, courtesy of notorious leaker @evleaks, we now get our clearest look at the handset thanks to a leaked press render. The press render confirms that OnePlus will be ditching their Sandstone black finish with their upcoming flagship killer and instead, switch to a unibody metal design.
— Evan Blass (@evleaks) May 17, 2016 The rear design of the handset does look similar to the iPhone 6s and the HTC One series, but compared to the OnePlus One and OnePlus 2, the OnePlus 3 looks far better in my opinion. The leaked press render also confirms that the handset will be once again coming with a USB Type-C port, though this should not be surprising since the OnePlus 2 also made use of the same port. While the OnePlus 3 has leaked plenty of times in pictures, it remains unclear when the Never Settle company plans on launching it, though a rumor pegged the handset’s launch to somewhere towards the end of Q2, 2016. The handset is rumored to come with a Snapdragon 820 chipset, up to 6GB RAM, 64GB storage space, and a 3,000mAh battery. Some certifications and patents also reveal that OnePlus will be including a new form of quick charging technology called Dash Charge in the handset.
