Thanks to the display, Smart Display can be used to view maps, YouTube videos, Google Photos, video calls over Duo, and manage other smart home devices. The Lenovo Smart Display is powered by a Snapdragon 624 chipset, 2GB RAM, and 4GB of internal storage. It also features Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi-Fi ac, a 10W speaker with dual passive radiator, dual microphone arrays for voice tracking, and a 5MP front camera. Interestingly, for all privacy freaks, the front camera has a physical shutter so you can rest assured that it is not recording all your movement silently.

The 8-inch Smart Display features a 1280 x 800 resolution, while the larger 10.1-inch model features a resolution of 1920 x 1200. Lenovo will be making the Smart Display available in soft grey and natural bamboo colors so that its design matches your living room or kitchen depending on where you place it. The Smart Display can also be placed in a portrait orientation if you are short of space. The Lenovo Smart Display will go on sale in early summer of 2018. The 8-inch model will cost $199.99, with the 10.1-inch model coming in at $249.99.
