Lenovo today launched its flagship Vibe smartphone in India: the Vibe X3. The handset sports a design that is similar to Lenovo’s recently unveiled Vibe K4 Note, including a metallic chassis and front-facing stereo speakers.

The stereo speakers flank a 5.5–inch Full HD IPS display. Under the hood, the Vibe X3 is powered by a Snapdragon 808 chipset, an Adreno 418 GPU, and a 3GB RAM. Other specs of the handset include a fingerprint scanner at its rear, 32GB internal storage, a microSD card slot, and a 3,500mAh battery. The rear of the handset also sports a 21MP rear shooter with an F/2.0 aperture that uses Sony’s IMX230 sensor and features Phase Detection Auto Focus, while the front houses an 8MP selfie shooter. On the connectivity front, the Vibe X3 offers LTE connectivity, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi ac, and dual-SIM connectivity. On the software front, the Vibe X3 runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with Lenovo’s Vibe UI running on top of it. Like the K4 Note, the Vibe X3 also features Lenovo’s TheatreMax technology that allows the handset to convert any normal content into immersive VR content that can then be viewed using the company’s AntVR headset.
