LG has just officially unveiled its second smartwatch running Android Wear — the G Watch R. The smartwatch comes with a 1.3-inch circular P-OLED display with a resolution of 320 x 320, and does not feature any kind of bezel at the bottom like the Moto 360. Unlike the G Watch, the G Watch R truly looks like an impressive watch with a sleek design, premium build quality and impressive specs. The R is made of stainless steel and comes with an interchangeable 22mm leather strap, which gives “it an air of modern prestige”. Under the hood of the watch is a dual core Snapdragon 400 clocked at 1.2GHz, 512GB of RAM and 4GB of storage space. It comes with an IP67 rating, a photoplethysmography heart rate sensor and packs a 410mAh battery for an all day battery life. The G Watch R will be available in “key markets” in the fourth quarter of 2014 with its price being announced near its availability.
