LG recently announced the LG G3 Beat, the smaller and more humble version of its latest flagship. The phone has already gone up for sale in South Korea, and now, it seems ready to take on international markets, as a UK retailer is now taking pre-orders for the device. The European version of the G3 Beat is called the G3 S, as was revealed in a recent leak, and the 8 GB model has been listed by UK retailer MobileFun for £299 (around €378), which is a tad more than the €349 price tag announced by LG. A release or shipping date isn’t mentioned, though LG will hopefully manage to bring the phone to global markets faster than it did with the G3, which still hasn’t launched in quite a few countries around the world. The LG G3 S features a 5-inch 720p display, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and laser-assisted autofocus, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter, a microSD slot, and a 2,540 mAh battery. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with the latest Optimus UI, with features such as Smart Keyboard, Quick Memo+, and Gesture Shot.
