The LG G5 has leaked quite a few times over the last one week. However, the ‘Magic Slot’ of the phone has still remained a mystery, though an alleged camera module for the device did leak yesterday, which gave us a glimpse at how the phone will look with the module inserted. Today, we get to have a look at the removable battery of the phone, which will go inside the Magic Slot of the phone.

As can be seen from the image above, the packaging of the battery makes it clear that the whole bottom part of the G5 is removable, which then allows for different types of modules to be inserted, which in this case is the phone’s 3000mAh battery. A previous leak has already given us a look at the Camera module for the handset that will enhance the camera functionality of the device whilst also boosting the total battery capacity by an additional 1100mAh. Rumored specs of the LG G5 include a 5.3-inch Quad HD ‘always-on’ display, a Snapdragon 820 chip, 3/4GB RAM, dual-camera setup at the rear, a fingerprint scanner, and a brand new metallic design. LG also confirmed earlier today that it has partnered with B&O Play to deliver Hi-Fi audio quality experience on the G5.
