LG has already sent out press invites for an event it is hosting on August 31, back in July, but back then it was only teasing what it might unveil on that day. Now, with only a few weeks to go, LG has decided to come right out and confirm that its next big thing will be the oft-rumored V30. The invite was published to LG’s blog, and it confirms not only that the V30 will be unveiled, but that the handset will feature a 6-inch OLED display, something we’ve heard rumored in the past....

Back in February, LG announced its newest flagship smartphone, the G8 ThinQ (along with other handsets). Unfortunately, while the Life’s Good crew was prepared to reveal the new smartphone, they weren’t so forthcoming about a release date or pricing. After digging through HP’s site, the folks at Notebook Italia have managed to uncover a video for what appears to be an upcoming notebook. That usually wouldn’t interest many, as notebooks are quite commonplace, but this one is particularly interesting as it seems to be running Android instead of Windows, Linux or Chrome OS. The Slatebook 14 as it is known, comes with a 14 inch 1080p display accompanied by a quad core NVIDIA Tegra SoC and all the features we come to expect from a standard Android device, including the suite of Google services such as the Play Store and a lot more....

The Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ features the same flip-open kickst as all the other Yogas from novo’s storied past. You can flip it out, st it up, lay it down to type, or snap it all the way in to lay the Yoga flat like a tablet (though the kickst won’t go away completely, as it includes a hump from the cylindrical battery on its back). It’s a bit of a struggle to get the kickst to flip out, there’s no slit to open it with your fingernail, which makes it even more tricky....
